Nice refrigerator for a limited space in kitchen.

Finding a restricted width size refrigerator was a challenge so this was a pleasant delight to have water and ice machine built-in -- very happy indeed with those features being part of a smaller size refrigerator. As for the overall layout of shelves and drawers - pretty happy with that as well with the number of options inside. However, tall items are limited unless you want them stored on the door - but that is not practical for heavy drink containers or a larger size tall container due to their weight. The doors do require some force to close - they do not flow easy and can be a bit challenging to ensure they are closed tightly. The other aspect noted is the inline water dispenser, the tube coming from the side should be a few millimeters out further to better accommodate wide-mouth water bottles that have a thicker brim on the cup. But, overall, pretty happy with the features.

This refrigerator was selected because it was white, had good lighting and most of all for the accessibility to the items inside. This one stored more inside than previous one and I am still able to see and find all items inside. extras include an ice maker that I did not have before, and a water dispenser, which all work great too. Having a drawer for frozen food is good so things do not fall out when I open it. Also had to fit in a defined area and this one was perfect for the space.

Pros: The capacity is actually more than we needed and a pleasant benefit. The ice and water features are solid and I prefer this style over the in the door style of dispensing. Cons: The water filter was not installed properly and had a damaged O ring so I had to fix that issue. The unit is noisier than expected during operation. Overall- Spacious and reliable and would purchase again.

I was disappointed to learn that GE no longer made the 33" wide Profile Refrigerator. However I am happy with the new GE Refrigerator. I did have to remove an existing overhead cabinet since the standard height of refrigerators is more than the 68" height of the old appliance purchased in 2008. The new GE refrigerator makes more noise when generating ice and more noise when using the water dispenser.

We have been told that we bought a lemon. I am beginning to realize that it is correct. Purchased in late 2023. It failed during the 1 year warranty. Two weeks after the warranty ended it failed with the same problem again. Fortunately we had an extended warranty, but this is the 6th time they have come to work on the same problem. They keep ordering parts, but we want them to replace the fridge. They continue to hesitate. It's going to cost them in service calls. Time to take them to court, which will cost them even more. We can't lose, as we have kept records. Their warranty company is Assurant. Stay far away from them.

It looks big inside but the shelves on the door, which I do like, make the inside small. There is no designated place for eggs or butter. The fruit and vegetable bins are not deep enough. Can't even get a head of lettuce in them. I like that you can see the temperature when you open the door. Haven't connected the ice maker but was able to turn it off. As for the freezer space it's okay. It doesn't run a lot but does make noise when it does. I think they all do that. I ordered it in white and cost a lot more than others.

The freezer handle came of the door the first week. Having the freezer at the bottom is arduous in storing and finding contents. One of the inserted glass shelves in the top slide system broke and no longer tracks out. The glass inserted into the shelves cannot be removed to clean the build up of food in the tracks. The filtered water nipple is difficult to use. We are not happy with this GE refrigerator.

Like the fact that the fruit/vegetable/meat drawers are seemless. This makes them much easier to keep clean. Kept getting small pieces of lettuce, cuke seeds in the seams of the old fridge and there was never a way to adequately clean. The alarm that let you know the fridge door is still open is very loud (not necessarily a bad thing) but it sounds just like my smoke detector. Wish it were a more pleasing and distinctive sound. Went from a 35 inch fridge to a 32 inch. I lost more space than I realized, but at least I can move the fridge away from the wall to clean the coils and remove the drawers to clean.

So far, so good. Everything is as represented and everything works. The door shelves were a little hard to slide in but, once positioned, they are quite roomy. I like the alarm that rings whenever the doors do not shut completely. I also like that I can read the temperature inside when I open the doors and that it agrees exactly with my small thermometer.
