This washer is garbage. I purchased this washer less than 4 years ago and it stopped working out of nowhere already. I called GE and their response was that they can send someone to take a look, but I would be responsible for the cost of service. Keep in mind that they only give you a one year guarantee and after that they are not responsible for anything that happens to your machine after that.The washer started giving me problems a year and half after. PLS DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER IF YOU DONT WANT TO WAIST YOU MONEY.

This is our second one of these washers . Overall ,we were pleased with the first one ......until things started going wrong ! After 2 years ,the main circuit board went out ( known for this ) .I replaced it and it worked normally ,until it didn't . After not quite 4 years ,the drain pump and inverter board went out and possibly damaged the main board again . We made the decision to buy another washer rather than try a repair AGAIN. Because we purchased a matching pair ,washer and dryer , and we didn't want to buy ANOTHER pair of something ,we have purchased another of the same model ...... AND an extended warranty . Here's hoping the flaws have been fixed and things last ,as we do like the features of the machine .

Door latch failure after 27 months of use. Also, filter drain is so close to the floor that you can only drain it into multiple multiple cookie sheets which is a pain because water gushes out and floods the floor. Only buy this machine with a riser so that you can do the routine filter drain without ruining your floor. Hopefully the repair guy can fix the door when he comes later this week. Sure wish the builder had offered extended warranty. Otherwise, when the washer door stays latched, the machine works great. So far. In our last house, our other brand of washer had lasted 19 years with no repairs.

It™™s Awful. After a very short time of having this washer, it broke. Literally the whole computer system failed!! I had one repair guy come in and said it™™s not worth fixing because the money you have to put into it isn™™t worth it. Boswell ( the warranty company) has taken their good old time getting to my house- so 2 weeks later and after a 112.00 charge I™™ll hear what they have to say. Stopped working after 2 years + 2 months

The washing machine stopped working after only 2 years + 2 months of use in a single-person household. Issues: The door would not unlock AFTER a completed cycle. I could "force" the door open by inputting a certain diagnostic code. But then it would not start a cycle because it didn't think the door was closed. (No way to circumvent this issue). Service technician replaced the door lock which worked for 1 cycle. Numerous diagnostic codes were set stating that the issue could be 1 or more of the following parts: Main control board, drive motor inverter board, or vent. GE could not determine WHICH would fix the issue, and the cost of replacing ALL the parts was nearly that of a new machine, even with a GE-provided discount. AND they would not guarantee that the issue would be resolved even if I replaced them all. I spoke with the Consumer Relations Department, who offered me a replacement machine for $780. I find this insulting given the age of the machine. I built a new house and furnished it with all GE appliances. I'm now wondering what's going to break next. As a loyal GE customer who spent a lot of money on their products, I expected better treatment. What has happened to the quality of this company?

I™™ve been really happy with the GE Flo washer so far. The 4.8 CU.ft capacity is spacious enough for larger loads but what I love the most is the ultrafresh vent system its given with odorblock. ï¿¼ Phone load washer can sometimes develop a musty smell so having a feature decide to help keep the drum indoor area fresh is a big plus is clean close very well run smoothly and has plenty of you for wash sitting without being overly complicated the sanitize would also say option is also nice to have a towel bedding load that near a deep clean, I also like the modern design the large door with me, loading and unloading so much easier. It is overall feel well Bill practical and thoughtfully decide for every day use if you are looking for a front washer with a large capacity and extra feature to help with ador and more moisture this GE model it definitely work considering specially it for using as big load and big family. Modern version looks smart for all button with option to choose. No loud noise only if you put to little cloth for the size of load and if cloth contain zipper.

A big upgrade from my old washer

I™™ve had this washing machine for about a month now and have probably put around 25 loads through it. I switched from a traditional top-load agitator washer, and so far I definitely prefer this front-load washer. The large capacity is one of my favorite features. I™™m able to wash our entire king-size comforter without any problems. It also does a great job of spinning the water out of the clothes, which makes a noticeable difference when it comes to drying time. With my old washer, I would often have to run the towels through the dryer twice, but with this washer they are dry after just one cycle. There are a few things I don™™t like. The detergent tray always seems to have some water left in it, even days after running a load. Because of that, I™™ve gotten in the habit of leaving both the detergent drawer and the washer door open between loads to help everything dry out. I also like that the door can be switched to open from either direction. Mine came set up to open to the left, but it can be changed to the right, which is a nice feature depending on how your laundry room is set up. The washer is also pretty quiet and the alarm that goes off when finished is the perfect volume. The washer also has quite a few Wi-Fi and smart features. I™™m still trying to learn how to use them but they seem like they will be helpful. Overall, after about a month of use, I™™m very happy with the washer. The capacity, cleaning performance, and especially the better spin cycle have been a big improvement over my old top-load washer. Other than the water that remains in the detergent tray, I™™ve been very pleased with it so far.

This GE washing machine has a lot of cool features including an UltraFresh vent system which helps eliminate any excess moisture so your clothes stay feeling clean and fresh. You can easily customize the settings and even monitor your laundry using the SmartHQ app. I manually do my laundry the old fashioned way but it™™s nice to know that I can get my clothes washed with the app! The machine itself works well and a quick wash (about 30-35 mins) is enough to do a full load of laundry. There is a slot on the side where you place your detergent and the slot has different areas for different types of detergent (liquid , powder, etc). Overall this is a good washing machine!

I was static to receive this offer. We needed a new washer and lucky enough this is the set we were looking at and I love it! We™™re looking into getting the dryer next. The delivery was quick and seamless, even in the pouring rain. I want to address one of the concerns I had looking into he washer previously, which others shared, before I got the offer. Many front load washers without proper care will start to have a lingering odor. It™™s important to leave the front door propped open for a while after washing. Although I loveee the washer has a great venting system and allows you to start additional venting after each load. I haven™™t experienced and odors lingering or problems with drainage. My clothes come out much cleaner, smelling amazing, and I love the custom wash options such as prewash, extra rinse and spin. I™™ve been using the washer for about a month so I could leave an honest review. The app is really great especially for busy families. It gives you a 5 minute heads up before you load ends and if you haven™™t unloaded it gives you a reminder after 30 minutes. The detergent drawer comes with an extra slot for the pre wash detergent which I love to use for towels and my bedding. I also don™™t feel like I have to use as much detergent which is a plus! We™™re already looking into buying the dryer. I would 1000% recommend this washer. My only con of it all is that I think it™™s a tad loud on the high spin setting. Coming from an older washer this one is a total upgrade and something I wouldn™™t hesitate to invest in.

I™™ve been using this amazing machine and IM honestly so obsessed with it! First of all, the drum size is huge , so i can easily fit big blankets and heavy loads all at once without doing multiple washes. What really blew me away is the spin speed, it™™s insane! The clothes come out so clean, fresh , and almost completely dry that they just need a little bit of air to be ready to wear. Plus , it™™s unbelievably quiet ( i can barely hear any sound while it™™s running! Okay, let me preface this with, I loved my other washer. Just needed a second unit for our downstairs. I love this so much more than what we already have! I use nontoxic detergent (TrulyFree) and I was thinking it maybe didn™™t work but then a couple loads with this washer and I quickly found out, it was my washer!! This works so well. Above its performance, I™™m OBSESSED with the fact that I can forget (like a lot) to move my load and it™™s totally fine. This picture is clothes after almost 3 days. They didn™™t smell at all & we™™re still wet on a day where it was close to 100F outside. It™™s a lifesaver and time saver for me as a busy mom. I have seen lots of reviews talking about mold issues so I have been watching it closely. I™™ve had a month & noticed you just have to make sure to keep it open after loads. Also, I live in a hot dry climate. If I was prone to mold in my area maybe I™™d have a different opinion. Overall, I™™m very happy with it.

Buying this GE washer was one of the worst appliance purchases I've made. The machine failed after only 18 months, which is completely unacceptable for a product that costs hundreds of dollars and is expected to serve a household for years. What really sealed my decision to never purchase another GE product was the company's response. Rather than standing behind a relatively new appliance, I received no meaningful support or willingness to help resolve the issue. Customers should not be left paying for major repairs on an appliance that hasn't even reached its second birthday. Reliability matters. Customer service matters. GE failed on both counts. I love all the features with the app and the fact that I get notified when my cycle is completed as as well as when the clothes have been sitting in the washer for 30 minutes or longer. I like the venting system that is included in this washer. It™™s very easy to use and I™™m excited to continue to use this product! ï¿¼

I™™m in love with my new GE Front load washing machine! It is beautiful, holds a large capacity of clothes. It was a lots of different functions. My personal favorite is the phone application that I can control and track the machine and its cycles. I wish it was a little bit quieter but aside from that I LOVE IT!!

We bought this washer less than 2 years ago, and right after it was out of the manufacturers warranty, the control board went out. Thankfully GE did extend the warranty for 30 days to be able to cover the issue. Now less than a year from this happening, we are in the middle of more issues with this washer. Has stopped several times mid load, shown several codes, and we have had to reset it to get it to work again. Now it has stopped mid load, the door is locked, we have tried to enter the code for the force unlock, and still won't unlock. So now we have wet clothes trapped in our washer until we can get someone out to be able to work on it. This will absolutely be the last time I buy anything GE, and I am currently looking for a new washer less than 2 years after buying this one. Disappointed is an understatement.

I am truly happy for my GE washer. I picked well. It holds lots and lots and uses great deal less power and water than the one it replaced (It was an older model GE that had a great run). I have used less laundering products and the cycles are fast & and efficient. Laundry day no longer takes a whole day it is now Laundry hours.

I'm incredibly disappointed with this washing machine!!!! I bought it from Lowe's four years ago because sadly, we had to leave our 15-year-old LG washer behind when we sold our house, so this GE was our replacement. Turns out the warranty only covers the motor, and now we need a new motherboard and inverter board, which together run almost $300. I really wanted this brand to last, but the repair is going to cost us about half of what we originally paid for the machine. Needless to say, this is definitely our last GE purchase.

Do not buy. After 1 year the control board needed to be replaced. About 1.5 years after control board replaced the washer stopped working. It has error codes, 38, 3, 25, 70, 57, & 46.

This washer is AMAZING! Pros: -Tons of features! There are so many customization options to meet the needs of the load you™™re washing. You can use one of the preset options and then adjust the spin speed or the soil level, etc. -Starting/pausing a load is very easy -I like that it uses buttons instead of just a touch screen! -The display is easy to read -Very easy to use -The washer is SO QUITE!! -Microban venting is very cool! I love that I don™™t have to worry about leaving the washer door open thanks to the automatic Microban venting! -SmartHQ mobile app is simple to set up and it sends notifications when a load is 5 minutes from being done and when the load is finished. It also sends a notification if your clothes have been sitting in the washer for over 30 minutes. It makes staying on top of laundry so easy! -The Quick wash cycle for clothes that are needed in a hurry is very convenient! -The spin cycle works so well it has reduced the amount of time it takes to dry the laundry. I have no cons for this washer, everything was easy to install, set up, use and maintain.

Door lock problem after only 2 years

I™™m incredibly disappointed with this washing machine. We bought it just over 2 years ago after replacing a former GE washing machine that stopped working after only 5 years. This new one has already registered an issue with the door lock mechanism. Although there are no instructions to the door, it will not run as it cannot identify a secure lock upon shutting. I called customer support and they said it was out of warranty, meanwhile the washer boasts a 10 year limited warranty. Needless to say, this will be our last GE purchase.

This is an energy efficient and sturdy washer. It uses water pretty much like any other washer. It has many cycles which is very convenient. Odor is not an issue because it comes with an ultra fresh vent system. Cleaning is easy thanks to the Sanitize feature. There™™s an app you can download to control the cycles which is cool too.

This washer leaves my clothes and blankets feeling so clean! I can wash my large king size comforter easily with this washer and even my king sized pillows! It™™s super quiet and its quick wash mode is very fast ! I™™ve been using this since July 8th 2026 and I have no complaints! Connecting this washer to wifi and setting up in the app was super easy. I love how the app lets you know when your clothes are finished and gives you a heads up if they™™ve been sitting. It™™s a very strong washer but still has almost no vibration even with very heavy loads.

The spin cycle is very long. Can not choose rinse cycle water temperature. The venting process takes forever which is a waste of energy. The black door does not allow you to view inside during wash cycles. The pull out tray for adding detergents etc.is too long and the fabric softener compartment is hard to fill since it is in the extreme rear of the tray. It came with no manual which is difficult to access online and when downloaded it won't print out the entire 38 pages of English. It stops at 27 pages. In the manual there are no instructions how to use the WI-FI . only how to activate it. It was not properly leveled when installed and shook like it was going into orbit. and explode. We had to adjust it ourselves. This may seem like a long list of negatives but as a senior person too much technology is frustrating. This is not necessarily a review of complaints but just observations. In conclusion It seems to be a good machine so far. Just have to readjust to all the added and awkward amenities. I do love the larger capacity.

Initial thoughts are it does a good job cleaning. Great capacity. No problem doing an overflowing basket. At max spin it™™s no louder than the kitchen faucet. Bone dry interior and gasket after running the ultra fresh vent cycle. The real test is how I feel about it in 10 years. Without the manufacturing confidence to put a LONG warranty on parts AND labor three stars is all you get. Ask me again then.

I appreciate so much @Influenster and @GE for such an amazing complimentary, I™™m so happy, I was looking for my perfect washer for a long time. I guess dreams come true. I honestly get excited every time I do laundry now, which is something I never thought I™™d say. This washer has been such a great addition to our apartment. It™™s surprisingly quiet, has a large capacity, and offers so many different wash settings that I can easily choose the right cycle depending on the fabric, temperature, or how quickly I need everything done. I also love the little details, like the detergent drawer with clear labels that make it easy to know exactly where everything goes. One thing I really appreciate is how it feels during the spin cycle. The anti slip feet keep it in place and help prevent the washer moving around, which makes a huge difference compared to older machines I™™ve used before. It looks beautiful in our apartment, works amazingly, and the best part is finally being able to do laundry whenever I need without having to take everything somewhere else. It™™s my new home toy, couldn™™t be more happier. It was super easy to set up, it came in a safe box, all parts were safe not damaged.

I love the sleek , modern design of this washer. The wash programs are easy to use and deliver excellent cleaning performance on every load.it runs with very little vibration , making it quiet and stable even during high speed spins. The ultra fresh self cleaning system makes maintenance simple and helps keep the drum fresh and clean. Clothes come out clean ,fresh, and well cared for,and the spin cycle removes plenty of water, helping them dry faster. I have been using this GE Washer for about a week now, and it honestly has made laundry feel less like a chore. The first thing I noticed was how quiet it was compared to my old washer. Even during the spin cycle it isn™™t as noticeable through out my home. The down side is you will have to leave the door open on the washer for it to dry all the way out because the silicone part doesn™™t stay dry unless it™™s open which could cause mold. The detergent spot has various spots to place bleach, powder, liquid, fabric softener and even a pre wash.
