Bought this as my last GE dehumidifier conked out at 10+ years of continuous use to dehumidifier a garage and Northeast Florida. It has kept mold from growing in the garage as it worked perfectly. I was so impressed with the last one, I got this model which is essentially the replacement model. This one is quieter. I expect another 10+ years of Service from this one as well.

The "Smart Dry" feature is the only reason we buy this dehumidifier to minimize noise and energy usage. Have had three so far and they last about 2 years. GET AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. Just turned on the fourth one this time with a 4 year Amazon warranty.... we'll see....

It's a great dehumidifier and does the job really well. I am glad I did the research and bought one that has a hose you can connect it to. Only confusing part was the delay reads as off, when you enable it but other than that it works as intended.

This dehumidifier has been a game changer in the house. It pulls a lot of moisture very quietly while also having the smart function that shuts it off more than some other models and brands I™€™ve had. The only downside I can find is you can™€™t turn off the backlights for the buttons and display and it is really bright in our dark bedroom which is less than ideal for sleep so we had to tape over them which detracts from the looks.

Missing parts 1) package was broken open, it was ordered through Amazon. 2) missing the part that goes from the tank to the hose connection. There is no way for the hose to operate with out route from the tank to the pump. I can see where the part goes and I see how it connects to the hose feed. but it is missing

I'm sure the dehumidifier is fine but there's something wrong with the hose attachment. I purchased the hose purposely so I wouldn't have to keep removing and emptying the bucket. However, a flashing "EMPTY" keeps popping up. The hose is not doing what it's supposed to. Why??

Stopped working after a month. Will turn on and display the current humidity level in the room, sometimes it is correct. If you turn it off and on again it will run the fan for about 10 minutes and then shut off again without actually removing any moisture from the air. How do I know? The bin is bone dry and the overall humidity of the room does not change, no matter how many times in a row you shut it off and turn it on and let it run until it stops by itself.

I just love our GE Dehumidifier! We bought it for our Master bathroom, which tends to get very humid, especially when we take our showers. This dehumidifier really gets the job done with removing the high humidity very quickly. It is a real powerhouse. We also love that we can set it to Automatic Smart Mode. It is a very easy dehumidifier to use. Simple and uncomplicated. Initially, we were going to install a dehumidifier that would have dehumidified our entire home and had only intended to use this dehumidifier in the interim. But due to the excellent job that this unit does, we will no longer will be moving forward with that project. As a result, this dehumidifier has saved us thousand of dollars! The downside to this dehumidifier is that it can be very loud when it is running. But, given that we only use it when taking our showers, the noise level is tolerable. I also don't like that it can be difficult to clean the bucket due to its inner design. Otherwise, it was a great investment and we are very pleased with its performance.
